The virtues and attributes

The virtues and attributes pertaining unto God are all evident and manifest, and have been mentioned and described in all the heavenly Books. Among them are trustworthiness, truthfulness, purity of heart while communing with God, forbearance, resignation to whatever the Almighty hath decreed, contentment with the things His Will hath provided, patience, nay, thankfulness in the midst of tribulation, and complete reliance, in all circumstances, upon Him.
These rank, according to the estimate of God, among the highest and most laudable of all acts. All other acts are, and will ever remain, secondary and subordinate unto them…."

The essence of ...

The essence of all that We have revealed for thee is Justice, is for man to free himself from idle fancy and imitation, discern with the eye of oneness His glorious handiwork, and look into all things with a searching eye.

“He shall not be asked of His doings.”

"Blessed is the man that hath acknowledged his belief in God and in His signs, and recognized that
Such a recognition hath been made by God the ornament of every belief, and its very foundation. Upon it must depend the acceptance of every goodly deed. Fasten your eyes upon it, that haply the whisperings of the rebellious may not cause you to slip.
“He shall not be asked of His doings.”
Were He to decree as lawful the thing which from time immemorial had been forbidden, and forbid that which had, at all times, been regarded as lawful, to none is given the right to question His authority. Whoso will hesitate, though it be for less than a moment, should be regarded as a transgressor."

Service to humanity is

Service to humanity is service to God.
Let the love and light of the Kingdom radiate through you until all who look upon you shall be illumined by its reflection.
Be as stars, brilliant and sparkling in the loftiness of their heavenly station.
Do you appreciate the Day in which you live?

O OFFSPRING OF DUST!

O OFFSPRING OF DUST!
Be not content with the ease of a passing day, and deprive not thyself of everlasting rest.
Barter not the garden of eternal delight for the dust-heap of a mortal world.
Up from thy prison ascend unto the glorious meads above, and from thy mortal cage wing thy flight unto the paradise of the Placeless.

Ponder a while.

The prison city of ‘Akká, 1863

Who can ever believe that this Servant of God hath at any time cherished in His heart a desire for any earthly honor or benefit?
The Cause associated with His Name is far above the transitory things of this world.
Behold Him, an exile, a victim of tyranny, in this Most Great Prison.
His enemies have assailed Him on every side, and will continue to do so till the end of His life. Whatever, therefore, He saith unto you is wholly for the sake of God, that haply the peoples of the earth may cleanse their hearts from the stain of evil desire, may rend its veil asunder, and attain unto the knowledge of the one true God—the most exalted station to which any man can aspire.
Their belief or disbelief in My Cause can neither profit nor harm Me.
We summon them wholly for the sake of God. He, verily, can afford to dispense with all creatures.
